Good Designers need to know how to unite and actually build different construction components. Theory without practice is useless! Has your designer ever gotten his hands dirty? Does the designer know how to build and combine the following items?

Rules when Designing (What we strive to achieve with our designs):

  2. True to the existing design (existing vernacular).
  3. Attention to detail with a variety of materials (stone, glass, iron, wood, etc.)
  4. Following the surrounding architecture (consistent planning)
  5. Taking advantages of any and all views
  6. Creating character and authenticity (Do we make it better?)
  7. Creating outdoor spaces where possible
  8. Adapting new floor plan with existing that allows for flexible options.
  9. Providing floor plan flows and draws you in
  10. Creating an air of serenity and an order of sequence
  11. When adding on, avoiding the “add on” look
  12. Fulfill the Clients needs and desires!!!

Our Design Process

For a small fee, Add On will use the latest software to show you your future construction before working drawings are ever created (Please see computer animated drawings below) Add On will:

  1. Meet with Client and gather all information.
  2. Measure existing home and lot.
  3. Draw and create a 2D and 3D model of your existing home.
  4. Design and draw a 2D and 3D model of your new home construction/remodel.
  5. Present new design to homeowner via laptop. Add On will show you:
    1. Floor plans
    2. Sections
    3. 3D Perspectives
    4. Flyby walk-through of your new design
    5. Adjust design if needed.
